What You’ll Be Doing
Are you an experienced Contract Manager looking for an opportunity to oversee high‑profile services within one of the most unique and historic estates in the UK? Working at the UK Parliament, this role sits within Customer Experience and Service Delivery (CE&SD) and is responsible for managing key contracts across the Parliamentary Estate including Cleaning, Waste Management and Pest Control.
This is a varied and hands‑on role where you’ll work closely with suppliers, stakeholders and internal teams to ensure services are safe, compliant, reliable and delivered to a high standard for Members, staff and visitors. You’ll lead on contract mobilisation, performance management, supplier relationships and service improvements, while helping to drive innovation and value across Parliament’s operational services.
You’ll also have the opportunity to work with a wide range of teams across the House of Commons and House of Lords in a fast‑paced environment at the heart of UK democracy.
This role is offered on a hybrid working basis, with an expectation of you spending 40% of your time in the office.

- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to identify priorities, manage competing demands and deliver at pace in a complex environment.
- Experience in financial oversight, including budgeting, forecasting and validating contractual payments to ensure value for money.
- Strong understanding of relevant legislation including Health & Safety, environmental law, waste compliance and Duty of Care.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to gather and interpret data, identify risks, evaluate options and recommend evidence‑based decisions.
