What is the job role?
As a Children and Family Worker within the Help and Protection Service, you will work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. You will be a key person within the multi‑agency network where you will offer essential support services, advice, training and strategies to support children and families. You will work in partnership and empower children and their families to sustain positive behavioural changes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical, emotional and relational support tailored to individual children and their families.
- Offer essential support services, advice, training and strategies within the multi‑agency network.
- Communicate effectively with children, families, professionals and partner agencies.
- Manage your own diary and collaborate with the team to improve outcomes for children and families.
Who are we looking for?
- Confident in communicating with children, families, professionals and individuals from other agencies.
- Able to gather relevant information and plan strategies of support for children and their families.
- Capable of managing your own diary and working effectively with a multi‑agency team.
Requirements
- Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided).
- Conditional appointment upon satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
