What you’ll do

  • Be an ambassador for Timberpak bringing professionalism, energy, and enthusiasm every day.
  • Engage with colleagues to build a strong safety culture and lead by example.
  • Provide clear, practical advice on all aspects of health and safety management.
  • Investigate incidents thoroughly, including serious cases and RIDDOR events, ensuring lessons are learned.
  • Develop risk assessments, COSHH assessments, and work instructions.
  • Support behavioural safety programmes and deliver engaging training sessions.
  • Monitor accident trends, interpret data, and share insights to drive improvement.
  • Liaise with statutory bodies (HSE, Fire & Rescue, Local Authorities) and support ISO 45001 certification.
  • Travel to other Timberpak and EGGER sites as needed (with occasional overnight stays).

What we’re looking for

  • NEBOSH National Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety (or equivalent). Strong candidates with a NEBOSH National Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety will also be considered.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills – you can influence and build trust at all levels.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • A collaborative mindset and confidence to share ideas.
  • Full UK driving licence as travel to the other Timberpak locations is a requirement.
  • (Additional qualifications like Fire Safety or ISO auditing are a bonus, but not essential.)
