About the Role
We are looking for a driven and detail‑oriented Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of Sizewell C, one of the UK’s most significant low‑carbon energy infrastructure projects. The role is ideal for someone with a background in engineering (preferably mechanical or electrical) or experience in large infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support planning and execution of activities for principal rotating and electrical generation equipment and supporting systems.
- Monitor project progress, track actions, and drive resolution of issues through effective coordination and reporting.
- Align forecasts, costs and schedules to drive efficient project delivery across multiple project phases.
- Contribute to technical reports and delivery of the final design through to manufacture.
- Identify and mitigate risks related to delivery of design and manufacture of equipment.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement advanced data and documentation management tools.
Candidate Profile
Ideal candidates bring:
- Degree qualification in engineering, technical or project management related discipline.
- Evidence of experience in a project management or support role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Comfortable working within a multidisciplinary team of engineers or managers.
- Previous experience in high‑safety and quality environments such as Oil & Gas or MoD.
Desirable:
- Previous engineering or project management experience in the nuclear industry.
- Formal Project Management qualification (e.g., PMP, APM).

Salary & Benefits
Salary: circa £57,000, dependent on experience.
- Bonus: 5%
