Job summary
The Junction Health Centre is hiring a Patient Service Advisor / Administrator for our GP Practice in Wandsworth, full‑time, 37.5 hours per week, with possible evenings until 8pm on a few days per week. Shift patterns mix 8am‑4pm and 12pm‑8pm throughout the week.
Main duties
The Patient Service Advisor will manage general administrative and receptionist functions, following established routines, policies and procedures to deliver a high‑quality service. Responsibilities include:
- Processing and requesting repeat prescriptions
- Booking and amending patient appointments
- Handling patient and relative enquiries courteously and efficiently
- Assisting the Practice Manager with daily appointment management

Qualifications
Previous administration experience in a GP setting, ability to advise patients and relatives, exercise judgment with patient enquiries, knowledge of the EMIS Web clinical system and strong computer/administrative skills are desirable.
Additional requirements
This role is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS check. Applicants must hold current UK professional registration and provide a Disclosure and Barring Service clearance.
