We are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead compliance, governance, and maintenance planning across our engineering operations.
This is a key leadership role responsible for ensuring all maintenance activities are delivered in line with OEM standards, regulatory requirements, and internal safety frameworks. You will drive a proactive compliance culture, while overseeing maintenance scheduling, audit readiness, and system optimisation (CMMS – Mobaro).
Reporting to the Head of Resort Maintenance, you will provide strategic oversight and direction to engineering teams, ensuring maintenance is effectively planned, executed, and continuously improved.
Key Responsibilities
- Compliance Leadership & Governance
- Provide strategic leadership for engineering compliance, ensuring full alignment with OEM standards, statutory regulations, and internal policies.
Maintenance Planning & Resource Strategy
- Lead the development and oversight of maintenance planning and scheduling strategies, ensuring optimal alignment with operational requirements.
- Oversee team planning and resource allocation to maximise efficiency and minimise downtime.
- Monitor ride availability and engineering performance, providing insight through detailed reporting and analysis.
- Work closely with the Head of Engineering and suppliers to ensure the forward planning of parts, spares, and maintenance activities.
Systems & Data Management (CMMS – Mobaro)
- Own and drive the strategic development of the CMMS (Mobaro) system as the central platform for maintenance and compliance management.
- Ensure data integrity, system utilisation, and reporting capability to support informed decision‑making.
- Lead system improvements and ensure consistent adoption across the engineering function.
Engineering Assurance & Technical Oversight
- Provide high‑level assurance through targeted inspections and quality reviews of maintenance activities.
- Ensure all engineering work meets required safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Act as a technical escalation point, supporting resolution of complex maintenance and compliance challenges.
Capability, Training & Competency
- Lead the development and oversight of the engineering competency framework.
- Ensure all staff training, competency assessments, and records are maintained and aligned with operational and compliance requirements.
- Support the continuous professional development and upskilling of the engineering team.
Health, Safety & Risk Management
- Champion health, safety, and environmental compliance across all engineering activities.
- Ensure risk assessments and safe systems of work are robust, current, and effectively implemented.
- Support incident investigation and ensure learnings are embedded into processes and procedures.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance, efficiency, and ride reliability.
- Use data and performance insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimisation.
- Lead initiatives that strengthen operational resilience and engineering excellence.
Key Requirements
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
- Significant experience in a senior compliance, engineering, or maintenance role.
- Strong knowledge of OEM standards, regulatory compliance, and audit processes.
- Experience with CMMS systems (Mobaro or similar).
- Excellent leadership, organisational, and analytical skills.
- Strong communicator with the ability to influence at all levels.
Working Pattern
- Full‑time, 40 hours per week
- 5 out of 7 days, including weekends and bank holidays as required
