Job Description
- Acting as the primary IT representative and strategic partner to the Professional Services divisions
- Developing and defining the IT strategy for assigned business divisions in partnership with the IT Director
- Creating and maintaining IT roadmaps, driving prioritisation and managing demand across multiple teams and vendors through matrix reporting structures
- Providing product stewardship for multiple digital products and solutions, including vision, strategy, and roadmap development
- Leading and managing IT projects from initiation through delivery, coordinating across organisational boundaries
- Working collaboratively with both internal and external Software Development Teams, reporting to and partnering with the Head of Software Development
- Managing the tripartite relationship between business product owners, IT, and external vendors
- Building strong relationships with divisional leadership and operational teams through partnership and influence
- Coordinating resource allocation and managing project budgets across multiple teams
- Acting as an escalation point for critical service issues and helping identify priorities during major incidents
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years' experience in IT business partnering, project management, business analysis, or similar roles
- Proven track record in project and programme governance with matrix management and cross‑functional collaboration
- Experience managing relationships with third‑party vendors and external development teams
- Strategic thinking and planning capabilities with strong business partnering skills
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with ability to influence without direct authority
- Problem‑solving and analytical abilities
- Vendor and contract management expertise
- Financial acumen and budget control across multiple projects and products
- Leadership through influence rather than hierarchy
- Passion for driving operational improvements and efficiency gains
