Senior Service Manager – Tackling Loneliness
Working pattern: Part‑time (25 hours per week, 3-year East Sussex County Council funded programme). Based in Newhaven or Eastbourne, with travel across East Sussex.
Salary range £35,304 – £41,363 per annum pro‑rata, depending on qualification, skills and experience.
Closing date: Sunday 31 May 2026, 5 pm. Interview dates: Wednesday 10 and Thursday 11 June 2026.
Responsibilities
- Shape and deliver the next phase of the Tackling Loneliness Programme 2026‑29.
- Orchestrate complex partnerships across public, private and VCSE sectors.
- Organise and run meetings, forums and other partnership events.
- Lead strategic planning, monitoring and evaluation of programme outcomes.
- Advocate for and embed a culture of inclusion, empathy and kindness within the partnership.
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement and partnership management.
- Track record of working collaboratively within public service and VCSE environments.
- Strong organisational and facilitation skills.
- Ability to influence complex partnership talks and champion change.
