Quantity Surveyor

Role Description

We are seeking a capable Quantity Surveyor to support the commercial management of construction projects. You will play a key role in cost control, procurement, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage project budgets and cost plans
• Assist with tendering and procurement of subcontractors
• Monitor project costs and provide regular financial reports
• Manage variations, valuations, and interim applications
• Support the preparation of final accounts
• Work closely with site teams to track progress and costs
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and company procedures

Requirements

• Degree (or equivalent) in Quantity Surveying or related discipline
• 3–6 years’ experience, ideally within a main contractor environment
• Strong understanding of UK construction practices and contracts
• Good commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and standard QS software
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Authorisation to work in the UK
• Experience working on residential and/or commercial projects in London
• Progressing toward or holding Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) accreditation
