Job Purpose

To provide entry‑level support to the Investment Compliance function while developing foundational knowledge of Investment compliance, regulatory requirements, and investment processes within a regulated asset management environment, through structured training, hands on learning and close supervision.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation, review and submission of routine regulatory reporting tasks under supervision; support data gathering, validation and follow‑up with internal stakeholders.
  • Help prepare materials for internal reporting or presentations.
  • Support day‑to‑day use of regulatory monitoring systems.
  • Assist with data quality issues, reconciliations and exception tracking.
  • Assist in drafting and maintaining compliance procedures.
  • Support projects linked to regulatory change.
  • Assist in reviewing regulatory updates impacting regulatory reporting.
  • Support maintenance of internal policies in line with regulatory expectations.
  • Provide administrative and analytical support to the GRR team.
  • Contribute to process improvement, scalability and operational resilience initiatives.
  • Work with teams such as Compliance and Legal, to support regulatory reporting activities.

Personal Attributes Required

  • Interest in investment management industry.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work under pressure.
  • Keen eye for accuracy and detail.

Programme Details

You will join as part of the Investment20/20 Programme, a traineeship that introduces you to the world of investment management, allowing you to build industry knowledge, experience and relationships that will benefit your career and provide you with skills to secure a permanent role. The programme includes opportunities to meet and network with over 300 trainees across the industry and participate in socials and insight events.

Compensation & Employment Type

Salary: £26,500 per annum

Employment Type: Full time, Fixed Term Employee (Fixed Term)

Workplace Model

This role requires spending at least four full days each week working in an Invesco office.
