About the Role
Beaufort is a global leader in survival and safety technologies, protecting personnel operating in some of the world’s most demanding defence and aerospace environments.
We are seeking a Service Technician to independently service lifesaving equipment including liferafts to approved standards.
Responsibilities
- Perform inspection, inflation, testing, and repacking of liferafts and other products
- Service and certify lifejackets
- Operate workshop equipment safely
- Complete service documentation accurately
- Identify defects and escalat(e) when required
Skills & Attributes
- Job‑related experience
- Competent servicing skills
- Good documentation accuracy
- Ability to follow technical procedures
- Basic problem‑solving
Requirements
- Educated to High School Level with 4 GCSEs or equivalent
- Be able to work autonomously in a safe and professional manner ensuring a high standard of work
- Have excellent organisational skills and awareness of efficient time planning
- Be able to remain calm under pressure and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines and targets
- Willingness to travel
