FULFIL.X is a fast-growing third-party logistics and fulfilment company based in Manchester. We operate a large warehouse facility serving a growing portfolio of brands across the UK and internationally. We handle everything from pick and pack and domestic shipping to freight, returns management, and international logistics. We’re building the infrastructure that lets ambitious brands scale and now we’re growing the team to match.

The role

We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Specialist to own our growth pipeline. You’ll be the first point of contact for inbound enquiries, someone who builds genuine relationships with brands and takes a consultative approach to understanding what they need. You don’t need a background in logistics. What matters is that you’re a natural communicator who earns trust quickly and guides prospects to the right solution.

What you’ll be doing

  • Managing all inbound enquiries from first contact through to a signed agreement and smooth handover to the onboarding team
  • Building relationships with e-commerce founders and brand managers through thoughtful outreach across LinkedIn, email, and direct conversation — focused on understanding their challenges before ever pitching a solution
  • Attending networking events, trade shows, and industry meetups on behalf of FULFIL.X to grow your network and raise brand awareness
  • Identifying new opportunities to attract the right clients and having the freedom to develop your own approach to doing so
  • Building and maintaining a healthy pipeline, keeping our CRM up to date and reporting on activity and conversion
  • Working closely with our international logistics partners to understand brands’ cross-border requirements and position our international services effectively
  • Collaborating with the operations team to ensure new clients are set up for success from day one
  • Representing the FULFIL.X brand with professionalism, energy, and a genuine understanding of what our clients need

What we’re looking for

  • Proven experience in a sales, business development, or account management role — industry background is open
  • A confident communicator who builds rapport naturally and takes a consultative approach to understanding a prospect’s needs before presenting a solution
  • Self-starter mentality — you manage your own time, prioritise well, and don’t need to be chased
  • Comfortable initiating conversations across multiple channels including LinkedIn, email, and phone
  • Experience attending or representing a business at networking events or trade shows is a plus
  • Organised and detail-oriented — able to manage multiple conversations and deals at different stages simultaneously
  • A genuine interest in e-commerce, brand growth, or supply chain is a bonus but not essential
