Business Development Manager – Contract Cleaning

The Company
A genuine market leader within contract cleaning, specialising in high-value commercial cleans across the construction sector.
They partner with multiple Tier 1 contractors and operate across major UK projects, delivering everything from site setup cleans through to final handovers on multi-million-pound developments.
Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of work, they’re now looking to bring in a high-performing Business Development Manager to drive new revenue.
The Role
This is a true new business role focused on winning large-scale contracts and maximising value within existing accounts.
- Win new business across Tier 1 contractors, main contractors, and developers
- Sell high-value commercial cleaning solutions into major construction projects
- Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to close
- Consistently secure 6-figure deals
- Identify and penetrate additional opportunities within existing accounts
- Build strong relationships with key decision-makers across commercial and project teams
- Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery
The Candidate
We’re looking for a proven BDM who knows how to land and grow big accounts.
- Strong background in Business Development within construction, FM, or contract services
- Demonstrable success securing high-value contracts (£50k–£250k+)
- Experience dealing with Tier 1 contractors or large main contractors
- Confident, commercially astute, and comfortable operating at senior level
- A natural hunter with the ability to build and convert pipeline
- Driven by results and high earnings
The Package
- Uncapped commission (realistic 6-figure earnings)
- Clear progression within a growing business
