About the Role
The IT Technician will be responsible for maintaining and supporting the school’s IT systems, ensuring technology is reliable, secure, and effectively supports learning. You will work closely with staff and students to provide technical assistance and support the smooth operation of all digital resources.
Key responsibilities include:
Providing first-line technical support to staff and students.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining computers, laptops, and classroom technology.
Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
Supporting the school network, printers, and AV equipment.
Assisting with system updates, security measures, and backups.
Maintaining accurate records of support requests and system updates.
Supporting the integration of new digital tools and software into classrooms.
Experience and Qualifications
Previous experience in IT support, technician, or helpdesk roles.
Strong knowledge of Windows systems, networks, and hardware troubleshooting.
Excellent problem-solving and organisational skills.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
Professional, proactive, and reliable approach to tasks.
