Head of Year
The Head of Year will work with the Achievement Co‑ordinator responsible for the key stage to lead the pastoral care of a year group in order to achieve their full potential. Responsibilities include ensuring high standards of attendance, punctuality, and behaviour of a specific year group. The role requires effective communication with pupils, teachers, and external agencies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Relevant qualifications and GCSE grades A*–C in English or equivalent.
- Fluent spoken English – essential requirement under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016).
- Experience in pastoral care or similar educational roles.
- Enhanced DBS check is required.
