Senior Software Engineer – Core Experiences Team
Responsible for building and maintaining foundational services and SDKs that power Speechify’s product experience across platforms.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product teams to scope projects, identify trade‑offs, and deliver solutions via cross‑platform SDK.
- Optimize existing functionality to improve performance such as faster loading and intelligent parsing.
- Ship cloud functions, lightweight backend services, and scheduled jobs using Kotlin.
Qualifications
- Systems thinking and a focus on end‑to‑end design and simplicity.
- Speed in generating ideas and making decisions on what can ship now versus needs time.
- Collaboration skills to work with designers, marketers, and PMs.
- Experience with Kotlin Multiplatform and familiarity with Java.
- Prior experience with GCP is a plus.
