Position Summary

Role involves leading hotel sales strategy and managing relationships with on‑property and above‑property sales teams, driving sales across market segments, and maximizing opportunities in Meetings, Conference & Events.

Responsibilities

  • Take responsibility for activation of the hotel sales strategy
  • Manage relationships between on‑property sales and Hilton Worldwide sales and above‑property support
  • Manage all market segments through B2B relationships
  • Own and execute the Sales plan including customer facing activities
  • Position the hotel with key company and agency partners across all segments
  • Identify opportunities across market segments, focusing on Meetings, Conference & Events
  • Retain customers with repeat event and multi‑year deals
  • Maintain existing client base while growing market share
  • Drive conversion of direct inquiries and identify new business opportunities
  • Coordinate prospecting and team engagement during Global Weeks of Sales & Engagement
  • Review segments to identify unexploited opportunities
  • Identify opportunities with Travel Management Companies and network development
  • Audit business mix to ensure the right segments for exceptional results
  • Offer cross‑sell opportunities to new and existing customers
  • Attend sales initiatives, customer appointments and tradeshows as required

Planning & Organizing

  • Compile and deliver the hotel sales plan and related activities for targeted segments
  • Track production of targeted accounts and new opportunities
  • Manage retention and acquisition of accounts
  • Implement short‑ and long‑term sales plans
  • Utilize tools to track customer interactions and inquiries
  • Seek new ways to source business
  • Support annual sales incentive programs and team goals
  • Communicate key information to stakeholders and team
  • Support hotel teams in converting key opportunities

Directing Activities

  • Develop strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Represent Hilton Worldwide to a high standard
  • Evaluate sales resources and drive strategy and market share
  • Ensure sales incentive plan is embedded and relevant
  • Drive research, client engagement, and group generation activities as per strategy

People Activities

  • Recruitment, induction, training and development of sales staff
  • Create succession plans for sales roles
  • Coach and mentor; participate in joint calls and reviews
  • Develop and progress team members; ensure team training to sell
  • Set clear goals and conduct performance reviews
  • Address performance issues in a supportive and timely manner
  • Provide training aligned with Hilton global programs

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication: presentations, written and public speaking
  • Ability to lead cross‑functional collaboration
  • Analytical skills to assess financial data for strategic decisions
  • High ethical standards and discretion with sensitive information
  • Initiative to identify and implement actions to achieve goals
  • Understanding of client business, market environment, and distribution channels

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent, or relevant experience
