Clinical Negligence case auditor and support Medical Law Services (MLS)
Location: Hybrid, Liverpool
Responsibilities
- Provide key legal insight and input across all services provided by MLS.
- Review and audit clinical negligence leads vetted by the MLS team.
- Assist in shaping and delivering legal training across the MLS business.
- Strengthen decision making by offering clear, confident guidance on complex legal matters.
- Drive continuous improvement through feedback loops, analysing trends and translating insights into actionable recommendations.
- Collaborate closely with operational teams, ensuring legal considerations are embedded at every stage of the MLS process.
- Champion best practice and compliance to ensure all case‑related decisions align with legal frameworks, internal policies, and industry standards.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives and wider business projects to improve processes, enhance quality, and strengthen customer outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in clinical negligence case management.
- Background in legal case assessment and screening of legal cases.
- Legal expertise with sharp analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management ability.
- High attention to detail ensuring accuracy in decision making.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and proactive identification of trends.
- Strong experience with Proclaim or other software tools such as Adobe, Microsoft.
