Client Relations Executive (Internal Sales) – Commercial Team
We are recruiting on behalf of a growing and ambitious business for a Client Relations Executive (Internal Sales) to join their commercial team. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially minded individual who thrives in a fast‑paced sales environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of projects within a designated geographical area, building strong client relationships, identifying opportunities, and helping drive revenue growth.
Working closely with Business Development and leadership teams, you will play a key role in managing project pipelines, securing meetings, supporting proposals, and ensuring exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
Location: Hawkhurst
Salary: Starting from £40,000
Job Type: Full-time, permanent
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively follow up and manage all live projects within your designated area
- Track project progress, identify opportunities and maintain strong pipeline visibility
- Take ownership of pricing and profitability across live opportunities
- Support the preparation of proposals and mock‑ups to maximise project conversion
- Identify and secure new business opportunities through proactive outreach and relationship management
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and key decision‑makers
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain regular client communication
- Lead negotiations confidently, focusing on value‑led selling rather than price competition
- Arrange and coordinate high‑quality meetings for the Business Development Manager
- Maintain accurate CRM records including pipeline activity, project updates, and conversion tracking
- Monitor sales performance and identify opportunities for improvement
- Support internal meetings, administrative duties, and wider team activities where required
Skills, Experience and Training Requirements
- Previous experience within internal sales, client relations, customer service, or business development
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of sales processes
- Experience working within a specification or project‑led sales environment would be advantageous
- Excellent IT and CRM system skills, ideally with experience using Zoho or similar platforms
- Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities
- Confident negotiating and influencing stakeholders at all levels
- Highly organised with strong time management skills
- Persistent, motivated, and results driven approach
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Full UK driving licence required
