Role: Project Support Officer

Location: City Wide

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week

Pay Rate: £16.07 per hour

Duration: Temporary ongoing

Are you highly organised, proactive, and confident working in a fast-paced environment? We're looking for a motivated Project Support Officer to support key service improvement projects within Housing & Homelessness, helping to streamline processes and improve operational delivery.

About the Role

This is a varied and hands‑on role supporting the expansion of temporary accommodation services. You'll work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to support project delivery, maintain accurate records, and help improve processes across multiple departments.

You'll play a key role in ensuring projects progress smoothly while providing essential administrative and operational support.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Supporting the coordination and delivery of service improvement projects
  • Managing and maintaining project data, records, and reports
  • Assisting with onboarding new properties onto internal systems
  • Working across multiple teams to help streamline processes
  • Supporting property inspections and completing associated administration
  • Updating Excel trackers and preparing information for repairs teams and contractors
  • Monitoring project progress and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Providing support and guidance to colleagues on systems and processes

  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Experienced in administration and data recording
  • Confident using Excel and internal systems
  • Able to manage competing priorities in a busy environment
  • A strong communicator who enjoys working collaboratively

  • Previous project support or property‑related experience is desirable
  • A driving licence is desirable but not essential
