Create tomorrow together. Join our WPS business to lead the technology side of complex contract mobilisations—bringing people, platforms and processes together so our customers get a seamless start from day one. You'll head up a talented team of Project Managers and Business Analysts, own the IT mobilisation plan end‑to‑end, and represent IT at every key forum from kick‑off to go‑live and hypercare.

What you'll lead

  • Mobilisation leadership: Own milestones, dependencies and stage‑gates through go‑live and post‑go‑live support.
  • People leadership: Line‑manage PMs and BAs—setting objectives, coaching delivery excellence, and building a high‑performing practice.
  • Systems & integrations: Oversee configuration and integrations between WPS platforms and client/supplier systems (APIs, file exchanges), ensuring data quality, security and performance.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Build trusted relationships with clients, suppliers and internal teams; chair design reviews, readiness forums and cutover command centres.

What you'll do

  • Be the IT voice at mobilisation kick‑offs and steering groups—clarifying dependencies, risks and decisions.
  • Coordinate all IT workstreams—systems changes, data, training, go‑live and hypercare delivered safely, on time and to client satisfaction.
  • Support bids and tenders: Review tender packs, shape robust IT responses, and represent IT in client demos and interviews.
  • Governance & risk: Enforce mobilisation standards, provide risk/issue updates, and ensure accurate reporting to programme and senior forums.
  • Continuously improve: Maintain and evolve the IT mobilisation process—playbooks, templates and document libraries—embedding lessons learned for consistency and quality.
  • Resource planning: Identify and secure the right blend of PM, BA and SME support for each mobilisation.

What you'll bring

  • Proven IT mobilisation delivery with end‑to‑end accountability.
  • Strong technical grounding: Systems integration, data migration, non‑functional readiness, UAT and cutover/hypercare experience.
  • Bid expertise: Tender reviews, solution authoring, demo preparation and delivery.
  • Excellent communication: Able to influence diverse stakeholders and translate technical decisions for non‑technical audiences.
  • Qualifications: Degree or equivalent; PRINCE2/Agile; ITIL foundation desirable; knowledge of ISO 27001/GDPR.
  • Behaviours: Calm under pressure, accountable, collaborative, curious, and consistently customer‑focused.

Nice to have

  • Experience with WPS applications or working in the construction sector.
