Location: Castle Donington, East Midlands

Hours: Full-time – Permanent

Are you ready to guide high‑value, complex construction projects to success? As a Senior Project Manager at Kier, you will lead throughout the project lifecycle, from tender to delivery. You will nurture collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues while overseeing budgets, programmes and quality standards to achieve exceptional results. Projects will range from £15m to £60m across sectors such as Education, Health, MOD and MOJ.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and nurture multi‑disciplinary project teams to meet client expectations.
  • Build relationships with clients and stakeholders, understanding their goals and providing clear communication.
  • Manage project budgets and programmes, ensuring timely reporting and risk mitigation.
  • Negotiate with contractors and suppliers to ensure value delivery.
  • Implement Kier’s safety, health and environmental policies to create a safe working environment.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience leading construction projects from pre‑construction to delivery.
  • Skilled at managing project budgets, programmes and teams effectively.
  • Excellent communicator who can build trust and foster collaboration.
  • Expert knowledge of NEC and JCT contract conditions.
  • Relevant construction qualifications and professional membership (e.g., CIOB or ICE).
