Coopman Search are partnering with a leading global asset manager who are seeking a Senior Compliance Manager to join their London office on a 9–12 month FTC. This is a senior, high-impact hire supporting the private markets platform across EMEA, with a focus on real assets and real estate.
In this role, you will partner closely with senior stakeholders across the business, providing pragmatic regulatory advice and oversight across strategic initiatives, transactions, fund launches and investment marketing activity. You will be expected to adopt a commercial, hands‑on approach while operating effectively in a fast‑paced and evolving regulatory environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day compliance advisory support across private markets, real assets and real estate businesses.
- Partner with senior stakeholders on strategic initiatives, transactions and new product or fund launches.
- Review and advise on marketing materials and investment‑related communications.
- Provide practical guidance on UK and European regulatory requirements across private markets activities.
- Support the ongoing enhancement of compliance frameworks, policies and controls.
- Help drive and maintain a strong compliance culture across the organisation.
Experience Required
- Proven compliance experience within asset management, with exposure to private markets.
- Strong understanding of UK and European regulatory frameworks
- Experience reviewing marketing materials and advising on investment product regulatory considerations.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior audiences.
