Job Description:

We’re looking for an experienced Procurement Supply Manager to take full ownership of end‑to‑end procurement for our Client, who are a leading engineering and maintenance provider that support customers across the chemical & petrochemical, nuclear, oil & gas, pharmaceuticals & biopharma, power & energy, utilities, renewables and food & beverage markets. This is a full-time, site-based role at Hinkley Point C (Monday–Friday, 40 hours), working closely with the client, project teams and supply chain to deliver critical packages on time and within budget.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the full tender lifecycle: requirements definition, supplier engagement, negotiations and contract award
  • Manage procurement of equipment and subcontractors to support project delivery
  • Act as the single point of contact for all procurement activities
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies and package‑level sourcing plans
  • Lead supplier relationships, ensuring timely and compliant delivery
  • Work cross‑functionally with Engineering, Quality, HSE and Project teams
  • Ensure compliance with statutory, contractual and business requirements
  • Manage procurement risks, budgets and priority delivery sequences
  • Drive supplier negotiations and support contract formation with legal teams

Skills & Experience Required

  • Proven experience in a project-based procurement or supply chain role
  • Strong knowledge of procurement systems and processes
  • Experience with forms of contract (NEC Suite desirable)
  • Knowledge of plant, equipment and subcontract purchasing
  • Confident in senior client and stakeholder engagement
  • Strong people management, change management and continuous improvement skills

  • Eligible for Security Clearance (contact me for further details)
  • CIPS membership
  • Qualifications demonstrating high literacy and numeracy
