Job Description:

We are partnering with a top-tier global quantitative trading firm operating at the forefront of technology, data, and financial markets.

They are seeking a C++ Market Access Developer to join a world-class engineering team responsible for building and evolving ultra-low latency systems that power global trading connectivity.

In this role, you will work on the core infrastructure that connects internal trading systems directly to global exchanges and liquidity venues. You will design, build, and enhance high-performance market access gateways and market data systems where precision, speed, and reliability are critical.

You will take ownership of end-to-end exchange connectivity, including onboarding new brokers and venues, implementing protocol changes, and ensuring production stability of mission-critical trading flows. The work spans high-performance systems engineering, real-time optimisation, and hands‑on production support in a fast-moving environment.

This is a highly collaborative role working closely with traders, quants, and infrastructure teams, where engineering decisions have direct impact on live trading performance across global markets.

Responsibilities and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional C++ development on Linux
  • Strong experience with Python and Bash scripting
  • Proven experience designing multithreaded and/or distributed systems
  • Hands‑on experience with trading gateways or market data feed handlers
  • Strong understanding of low‑latency system design and optimisation techniques
  • Experience working with production‑grade, high‑availability systems
  • Strong debugging skills in complex real‑time systems
  • Experience with exchange connectivity, broker integration, or market access systems
  • Solid understanding of software engineering best practices (version control, testing, CI/CD)
  • Excellent communication and ability to work across technical and business teams
