Role: Application Architect
Duration: 6 months with very likely extension
Location: Hybrid / Canary Wharf – 3 days per week in a Canary Wharf office

Qualifications
- In depth understanding of Object Oriented programming concepts as well as full Software Development Life Cycle
- Good understanding of MS .NET Framework environments
- Knowledge and experience of Agile methodology
- Knowledge of Cloud and AI technologies that can be adopted into the workplace
- Extensive experience working as a software and solutions architect
- Experience in designing high-level concepts for software solutions
- Experience in development of Azure cloud-based as well as on-prem solutions
- DevOps and SCRUM experience
- Experience in Cloud migration planning and execution
Responsibilities
- Create and improve architectural standards for on premise and azure cloud software products, develop cloud migration procedures and guidelines
- Assist in cloud migration projects, assess readiness and dependencies, optimize for the Cloud
- Create and review blueprints for software products, provide guidance on improving architecture
- Coding mission critical parts and performing code reviews
- Assist on integrating AI technologies to improve existing systems
- Ensure that applications are in line with compliance and regulatory standards and conduct regular security assessments of these applications
- Technical writing (creating related documentation)
- Assist developers with any architecture related issues and queries
