Infrastructure Engineer

Here at Burns Sheehan, we’re supporting a growing, technology‑led e‑commerce business with a strong sustainability focus, looking to bring in a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to grow out their engineering capabilities.

This is a hands‑on role with plenty of scope, working across a virtualised and cloud environment looking to work towards a more modern Microsoft environment while supporting business‑critical systems and delivering key infrastructure projects.

The Role:

• Provide support across 1st – 3rd line, resolving infrastructure and end‑user issues
• Administer and maintain Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Active Directory)
• Support Hyper‑V virtualised environments
• Deliver infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations and improvements
• Monitor system performance, ensuring stability, availability and security
• Support end‑user hardware including laptops, desktops and mobile devices
• Work closely with internal teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues
• Maintain clear technical documentation
