Contract Length: 9 months
Location: Need to be in the office – 3 days per week – Southbank/London office
Key competencies:
- Significant experience implementing robust IFRS15 policies in a software business
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Experience managing statutory reporting and external audits.
- Strong understanding of internal controls frameworks.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed finance teams.
- Strong stakeholder management at executive level.
- Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA or equivalent).
- High integrity and strong ethical mindset.
- Confident decision-maker on complex accounting matters.
Department & Position Overview:
The Technical Accounting specialist will be responsible for reviewing and implementing strong revenue recognition practices under IFRS15. This will involve a detailed review of the as-is practices and owning the implementation and delivery of any required improvements. Engagement with finance and non-finance stakeholders in articulating the change will be a priority. A key part of this activity is updated policy documents as required.
