Senior Backend Engineer (Ruby on Rails)
Location: London (Paddington) – Hybrid (3 days in office) – Full-time.

What You’ll Do
- Build and ship features end-to-end in a modern Rails 8 stack with Hotwire, Phlex, and Tailwind.
- Solve genuinely complex problems daily – healthcare data, real‑time scheduling, multi‑country compliance.
- Collaborate with designers and clinicians to deliver interfaces that are fast, intuitive, and beautiful.
- Take ownership of your domain: you’re not waiting for a ticket – you’re spotting the opportunity and running with it.
- Shape the architecture and engineering culture of a product used by clinics across 14+ countries.
What You Bring
- A deep appreciation of the Rails Way, with the chops to build elegant, scalable solutions.
- Experience shipping production features in Ruby on Rails (bonus points for Hotwire / Turbo / Stimulus).
