IT Data Cabling Project Manager
My client is a leading provider of innovative IT solutions, specialising in data cabling and IT infrastructure services. They are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Data Cabling Project Manager to join our team. Based near Langport; ideally looking for candidates within a one‑hour drive.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, coordinate, and manage data cabling projects from inception to completion.
- Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Oversee the installation, testing, and maintenance of data cabling systems.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client specifications.
- Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to keep projects on track.
- Prepare and present project reports to stakeholders.
- Manage project documentation and ensure accurate record-keeping.
- Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring high performance and motivation.
- Develop relationships with existing and new clients.
Requirements
- Experience delivering Data Cabling Projects in the Enterprise market.
- Experience in project management, preferably in data cabling or a related industry.
- Good knowledge of data cabling standards, protocols, and best practices.
- Excellent organisational, multitasking, and time‑management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a proven ability to work with engineering resources on multiple sites simultaneously.
