Overview
We have an excellent opportunity for a Portfolio Manager to join our London office on a permanent basis. This role combines investment strategy, client relationship management, and performance analysis to deliver customized wealth solutions aligned with client objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse client aims and needs to construct tailored investment solutions and portfolios that support advisor communications.
- Produce high‑quality proposals and analytical information to enable effective client advice and relationship management.
- Deliver ongoing portfolio monitoring and review, making recommendations to ensure continued suitability of investments.
- Review and adapt client portfolios in response to market forces or changing circumstances, leveraging research outputs and collaboration with senior colleagues.
- Build strong rapport with clients and industry professionals; demonstrate effective communication and relationship skills.
- Understand and comply with all relevant regulations and principles as a Certified Person with the Regulator (where authorised).
- Continuously expand market and portfolio management knowledge across diverse client scenarios and specialisms, e.g., Charities and Trusts.
- Embody RBC Brewin Dolphin values through working practices, challenge existing processes to improve client experience, and act with integrity to achieve fair outcomes; contribute to business development activities and support team growth while establishing positive, collaborative relationships with colleagues.
- Ensure adherence to all RBC Brewin Dolphin policies and regulatory codes of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- Likely to be degree educated.
- Previous experience as a Portfolio Manager.
- Has attained CISI Level 7 Wealth Management Masters or CFA qualification.
- Where applicable, maintains SPS in line with professional body requirements.
- For Certified Persons, maintains SPS in line with professional body requirements.
- Real team player, comfortable working as part of a team to deliver client outcomes.
