Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

We’re partnering with a PE-backed, multi-site business to find an FP&A Manager to take ownership of their planning and analysis function. This is a high-impact role sitting at the centre of a scaling business with strong private equity backing and a clear growth agenda – offering genuine commercial exposure and the opportunity to influence strategic decisions at the highest level. You’ll sit close to the CFO and senior leadership team, with direct visibility to the PE investors.

The Role

• Own the end-to-end budgeting and forecasting process across all sites
• Produce monthly management accounts, board packs and investor reporting, including detailed variance analysis and commentary
• Build and maintain robust financial models to support business planning, scenario analysis and capital allocation decisions
• Act as a trusted business partner to operational and commercial leaders across the site network
• Support the PE reporting cycle, including covenant reporting, KPI packs and ad hoc investor queries
• Drive continuous improvement across financial processes, systems and data quality
• Manage and develop analysts within the team

What we’re looking for

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong post-qualified experience in FP&A or commercial finance
• Proven experience in a multi-site, operationally complex business – retail, hospitality, healthcare or leisure environments ideal
• Experience working in or alongside a PE-backed business is a strong advantage
• Advanced financial modelling skills with the ability to turn complex data into clear, actionable insight
• A confident communicator, comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders and PE investors
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-moving environment
• A self-starter who thrives in a scaling business and is comfortable building and improving processes
