HMT Sancta Maria Hospital in Swansea offers a wide range of medical specialties and invites applications for an MRI and General Radiographer to join their Radiology team.
Responsibilities
- Report to the Radiology Services Manager and coordinate the daily MRI and radiography workload.
- Prioritise clinical needs and optimise scanner usage and equipment resources.
- Deliver high‑quality MRI and radiography services, including abdominal, orthopaedic, vascular, gynaecological, multi‑parametric prostate imaging, with cardiac MRI experience desirable.
- Provide general radiography and fluoroscopy/or theatre procedures as required.
- Adhere to departmental protocols and safety standards.
- Participate in a 24/7 on‑call service where appropriate.
Qualifications
- Advanced technical and clinical expertise in MRI procedures.
- Substantial experience in general radiography and fluoroscopy/theatre procedures.
- Knowledge of IR(ME)R 24 regulations and IRR17.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
