Band 5 Nurse – In Patient Unit
Starting Salary: £38,735 WTE per annum, pro rata (based on 37.5 hours per week). Salary rises to £42,977 pro rata after 12 months satisfactory performance review.

We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic, and forward‑thinking registered staff nurse – a team player with well‑developed communication skills.
You’ll be joining a multi‑professional team committed to delivering high standards of care to people living with life‑limiting conditions. You will demonstrate an understanding of palliative care and a desire to work in a caring environment, supported by previous relevant experience to enable you to provide evidence based, individualised specialist palliative nursing care to inpatients, whilst adhering to statutory regulations and Hospice policies.
The successful candidate will work a mixture of internal rotation shifts, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.
Criminal Record Check: This post requires the post holder to have a criminal record check. An application will need to be made to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before the successful candidate can begin in post. The Hospice will pay/reimburse the cost of this check.
