Staff Nurse Vaccination Team
Position – Band 5 (Salary £34,544 – £43,039 per annum). Distant Islands Allowance £1,461.
Working hours – 36 hours per week.
Posts – 2 permanent posts. Job share considered.
Two vacancies have arisen within the NHS Western Isles Vaccination team based in Lewis at the Western Isles Hospital. The post holder will collaborate with colleagues to ensure equity and access to care for all those eligible for vaccination across NHS Western Isles, and be responsible for delivering a safe, efficient and effective vaccination service to a range of people in a variety of settings across the Western Isles.
Align with the Community Nursing Team during peak vaccination periods.
Qualifications / Requirements
- Registered nurse (Band 5).
- Must register with the PVG Scheme (Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme).
