Overview
The Emergency Department is exceptionally busy and currently has circa 153,000 annual attendees. An understanding of the importance of maintaining patient flows through the hospital is pivotal to this role. This band 6 role provides a real opportunity to develop leadership skills, clinical skills and knowledge base within the Emergency Services Directorate.
Responsibilities
Committed to sustaining and improving patient pathways, exercising good clinical skills and acting as a professional role model, supported by the National Curriculum and Competency Framework for Emergency Nursing.
Qualifications
Experience in an Emergency Department or significant acute medical setting. Minimum of 18 months acute care experience. Caring and compassionate nurses are required.
