About the Role
An opportunity has come available to join our compassionate, supportive and innovative team at Rehab. This post will be providing maternity leave cover for a fixed term of 12 months, delivering high‑quality, evidence‑based psychological care.
Responsibilities
- Carry a clinical caseload and offer expert consultation, case discussion, teaching, training and supervision.
- Provide direct 1:1 and group work with service users, adopting a creative approach to engagement and a focus on recovery.
- Complete risk assessments and support staff, including supervision of an Assistant Psychologist.
- Lead on aspects of service development, such as supporting trauma‑informed care, reducing health inequalities and meeting key performance targets.
- Collaborate and consult with the multi‑disciplinary team and work across the Rehabilitation Division, including other rehabilitation settings.
Qualifications
- Qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist with HCPC registration.
- Experience providing psychological and psychotherapeutic services in a high‑dependency rehabilitation setting.
- Strong leadership, teaching and supervisory skills.
