As part of our continued growth, we are seeking an ambitious and committed Solicitor / Fee Earner to join our award‑winning Conveyancing Team on a full‑time basis.
At Bell Lamb & Joynson, our Conveyancing team plays a key role in supporting clients through every stage of the home‑moving process. The role is initially office‑based, moving to a hybrid arrangement on completion of probation. The successful candidate will be hands‑on and collaborative, confident in managing their own caseload, and comfortable balancing high standards of client care with the pace and demands of a busy conveyancing environment. Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage expectations, prioritise effectively, and guide clients clearly and pragmatically through their transaction to completion.

What you will do in your working day

- Provide confident, steady leadership with your assistant and colleagues, helping create a productive working environment.
The role requires the following
- Qualified Solicitor, CLC Conveyancing Licence, or Fellow of CILEx (FCILEx)
- Part‑qualified candidates actively working towards the above qualifications will also be considered.
- 5 years’ residential conveyancing experience
- Strong technical knowledge of residential conveyancing.
- Calm, confident, and professional manner.
- Collaborative approach and willingness to support colleagues.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and trust.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail.
- Proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.
- Commitment to compliance, accuracy, and high‑quality work.
