Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor

Rate of pay: £30ph
ARC is currently looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a commercial construction project based in Chelmsford. This temporary contract role offers a competitive hourly rate and is ideal for a hands‑on professional with strong leadership skills and a solid mechanical background.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate mechanical installation works on-site
- Supervise subcontractors and ensure work is carried out to specification and programme
- Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times
- Conduct site inspections and quality checks
- Liaise with project managers, engineers and other trades
- Assist with planning, progress reporting, and problem‑solving on-site
Required Qualifications
- Valid CSCS card
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial projects
