What Are We Looking For?

Our Chemical & Biological Treatment business platform is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the division on a permanent basis and support DSEAR related projects across the UK. You will work as part of our in‑house, multidisciplinary design team and take on a key role in all aspects of projects from scoping and detailed design right through to implementation, ensuring compliance with Client Specifications and current regulatory standards.

Key Duties

  • Complete design aspects of projects from inception to implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with Client specification and current regulatory standards.
  • Prepare work scope estimates/quotations.
  • Assemble contract works information documents.
  • Consider project health and safety, quality, and environmental matters.
  • Liaise with all key stakeholders for the projects.

Requirements

  • Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • CompEx 12 qualified.
  • Experience of working in a multidiscipline design team.
  • Experience of working at all design stages is highly desirable.
  • Possess the ability to work on multiple projects consecutively.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
