VIGO is recruiting on behalf of a highly respected and forward‑thinking business in the Smart Buildings industry. They are looking for an experienced Trend/Tridium Commissioning Engineer to join their team in Manchester.
Role Overview
As a Trend / Tridium Commissioning Engineer you will play a critical role in the successful completion of smart building projects. The role primarily involves programming and configuring control system technology, ensuring optimised performance of building management systems, and eliminating system inefficiencies for maximum energy savings.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with BMS controls
- Perform system commissioning in line with project schedules
- Carry out regular system assessment and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations
- Contribute to project planning and implementation
- Liaise efficiently with customers, providing excellent service and support
The Ideal Candidate
- Sound knowledge in Trend and Tridium systems
- Previous BMS Commissioning experience
- Understanding of control system architecture and engineering
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong problem‑solving capabilities
- Health and safety certification preferred
