- Work closely with site management, engineering, construction and client teams to ensure safe and efficient commissioning delivery.
- Review commissioning procedures, test packs, permits, method statements and technical documentation.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during commissioning and start-up activities.
- Ensure all commissioning works are completed in line with project specifications, safety standards and quality requirements.
- Assist with punch list management, system walkdowns and handover documentation.
- Support mechanical completion, readiness checks and handover from construction into commissioning.
- Ensure accurate reporting of progress, issues, risks and completed activities.
- Maintain a strong focus on HSE, permit compliance and safe systems of work at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Commissioning Engineer on energy, power generation, substation, HV, grid or industrial projects.
- Strong understanding of commissioning processes, test documentation and system handover.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics and commissioning procedures.
- Experience working on live construction or energisation environments.
- Strong knowledge of HSE procedures, permits and site safety requirements.
