Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Wolverhampton, UK
Role Overview: Ensure maximum uptime of critical production equipment and site services through reactive and planned maintenance. Conduct electrical fault‑finding, diagnosis, repairs, and modifications on high‑tech machinery and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform reactive repairs and planned maintenance on CNC equipment, including controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Okuma, and Mitsubishi.
- Maintain and repair hydraulic test systems, including control systems (Allen Bradley, Siemens, National Instruments) and associated instrumentation such as load cells, torque transducers, and pressure transducers.
- Support maintenance of process equipment, including heat treatment and plating facilities.
- Interpret and work from electrical schematics and technical documentation.
- Understand and work with pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical systems and drawings.
Qualifications
- Strong working knowledge of CNC machinery.
- Electrical or Electronic Engineering qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a Maintenance or Service Engineer role.
- Knowledge of relevant Environmental, Health & Safety legislation.
- Desirable: Experience with a range of industrial systems and maintenance practices.
