Key Responsibilities
- Carry out mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly, fit‑out, servicing, and installation of products.
- Undertake servicing, commissioning, handovers, fault finding, and maintenance work on customer sites.
- Support initial installations and production fit‑out activities within the factory when site servicing work is not scheduled.
- Work from mechanical and electrical drawings, sketches, and verbal instructions.
- Organise site requirements and equipment before leaving the factory to ensure efficient and professional service delivery.
- Submit detailed service and commissioning reports following customer visits.
- Ensure compliance with RAMS, site protocols, and health & safety procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
- Time‑served technician/engineer with a minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in fit‑out, servicing, commissioning, installation, and site‑based engineering work.
- Strong mechanical assembly, fit‑out, and servicing experience is essential (role is approximately a 70/30 split in favour of mechanical engineering).
- Good working knowledge of electrical, electro‑mechanical, and pneumatic systems would be highly beneficial.
- Comfortable working around electrical components, reading electrical drawings, and supporting fault‑finding activities where required.
- Experience with PLC‑based systems is desirable; training can be provided.
- Experience working to RAMS and completing formal site documentation and reports.
- Company van and fuel card.
- £35,000‑£45,000 per year DOE.

Location & Travel
- Based in Newhaven, East Sussex.
- Occasional overseas travel may be required.
- Regular overnight stays away from home expected.
Additional Requirements
- Full and clean UK driving licence essential.
