Our client is a well-established M& E contractor with a turnover of over £75 million, delivering complex and high-quality building services projects across the North East and beyond. Known for their commitment to excellence, safety, and innovation, they operate across a wide range of public and private sector projects.
As a Mechanical Project Manager, you’ll take full ownership of all Mechanical works on a variety of projects, managing teams and subcontractors, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical installation projects from pre-construction to handover.
- Coordinate site activity with internal teams and external subcontractors.
- Monitor project timelines, costs, and quality assurance.
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety and relevant legislation.
- Report progress and provide updates to Operational Management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in Mechanical Project Management within the M& E sector.
- Strong background in delivering high value projects.
- Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of current building regulations and compliance standards.
- SMSTS, CSCS, and relevant mechanical qualifications.
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the North East.
