We're looking for a Multi Skilled Shift Engineer (Electrical Bias) who will deliver essential electrical and mechanical maintenance across a high‑profile London estate, ensuring systems remain safe, reliable and fully operational at all times.

Role Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a wide range of electrical and mechanical building services equipment.
  • Diagnose faults using technical manuals, drawings, and diagnostic tools to restore systems efficiently.
  • Support critical building systems including power distribution, lighting, motor controls, standby generators, and fire alarm/PA systems.
  • Conduct inspections, identify defects or warning indicators, and take corrective action to prevent system failures.
  • Work collaboratively within a balanced shift team to provide 24/7 coverage and maintain service continuity across the estate.

Required Qualifications

  • City & Guilds Craft Certificate / ONC or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Recognised electrical apprenticeship.
  • IEE 18th Edition certification.
  • Minimum two years' post‑apprenticeship experience in a similar building services environment.
  • C&G 2391 (or equivalent) preferred but not essential.
  • Strong understanding of building services systems and maintenance practices.
  • Ability to pass full intrusive security vetting (mandatory).
