We are seeking a constant/senior consultant who specializes in the Financial Services & Insurance domain. This role is pivotal in leading large‑scale, complex transformation initiatives in banking (retail, commercial, payments, lending) and insurance (underwriting, claims).
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and contribute to large‑scale transformation programmes, aligning with client goals and industry best practices.
- Have 3‑6 years of experience working in both banking and insurance projects with deep understanding of customer journeys, process flows, and business value realization.
- Build and manage relationships with senior stakeholders and SMEs influencing decision‑making in line with business goals.
- Create target operating model, blueprint, roadmap and design and implement programmes that manage alignment across people, process, technology, and business objectives.
- Have great presentation, advanced Excel analysis and Power BI reporting skills.
- Perform process mapping, process re‑engineering and create process maps.
- Own, define and manage programme plans, timelines, resource allocation, risk management, budget oversight, status reporting and ensure programme deliverables adhere to agreed governance and risk framework.
- Implement effective change‑management strategies to promote adoption of new processes and technologies within client organisations.
- Have deep knowledge of project management both waterfall and agile delivery, able to liaise between business and tech, and drive complex projects.
- Define and prioritise technical requirements, scoping, project planning, and create and maintain product backlog, epics, features and user stories in an agile context.
- Drive PI planning, big‑room planning workshops, sprint planning and work closely with cross‑functional multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Act as conduit between technical delivery team and business product owners, working closely with business analysts, solution architects, designers, developers and quality engineers using an agile, iterative design‑thinking approach.
- Maintain a good understanding of latest technologies, regulatory developments and best practices in the financial services & insurance space.
- Contribute to sales proposals, RFP responses and client pitches.
- Be a good team player.

Qualifications

- At least 5 years of experience in a technology‑focused role within management consulting, with substantial experience in the Financial Services & insurance industry.
Other Key Requirements
- Banking – Lending, payments, commercial and retail banking, onboarding / KYC, AML/fraud, financial crime, business banking, capital markets, etc.
- Insurance – P&C insurance, reinsurance, risk management, life or general insurance with experience in underwriting and claims.
- General financial management skills, financial analysis, gained within commercial and/or not‑for‑profit organisations.
- Advanced Excel skills, ability to compile and manipulate data to support reporting.
- Innovation in both sales and delivery.
- Proven ability to shape propositions and projects that deliver effective business outcomes for clients while managing internal commercial and delivery risk.
