We are seeking an experienced Account Manager/Director, this role focuses heavily on account management and relationship building for a major Salesforce implementation within business operations.
You will work closely with a Program Manager and wider internal teams to ensure clear communication, unified work streams, and long-term client success. This is an advisory and relationship-focused role; while you must be highly knowledgeable about Salesforce and its practical applications within an organization, hands‑on technical implementation or coding skills are not required.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Leadership: Lead the account management for a large-scale Salesforce implementation project.
- Relationship Management: Manage customer relationships, acting as the primary point of contact to ensure clear communication and alignment.
- Client-Facing Conflict Resolution: Navigate difficult conversations and direct client pushback, ensuring complex issues and conflicts are resolved constructively while maintaining client trust.
- Project Orchestration: Collaborate closely with a Program Manager and internal delivery teams to orchestrate unified work streams.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively manage risks, demonstrating the ability to effectively problem-solve and recover when project issues arise.
- Project Focus: Maintain a dedicated focus on the specific implementation project to ensure seamless delivery.
- Commercial Growth: Identify opportunities for upsell and ongoing client growth.
Experience & Requirements
- Experience Level: 7+ years of dedicated Account Management or Client Success experience at a senior level.
- MarTech Background: A strong background in Marketing Technology (MarTech) is required. (Please note: candidates with primarily PR or Creative agency backgrounds will not be considered for this position).
- Salesforce Expertise: Deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem and its practical business applications. Direct experience managing Salesforce projects within a MarTech context is a massive advantage.
- Large-Scale Account Management: Proven track record of managing major accounts and projects with budgets exceeding £1 million.
- Client Handling & Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to manage complex client dynamics, specifically with a strong track record of direct client conflict resolution and troubleshooting project challenges efficiently.
Contract Details & Working Setup
- Duration: Initially a 3-month contract, with strong anticipation of extending to an 18-month engagement.
- Working Setup: Full-time (5 days per week).
- Location: London-based (Hybrid). Requires 1 to 2 days per week in the London office.
- Travel: As the end-client is based in France, some occasional travel to France may be required.
