In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
- Design the best strategy for the validation of new antibodies for critical research areas like cancer, immunology and infectious diseases.
- Establish and troubleshoot new processes, with a focus on standardization and continuous improvement.
- Maintain a high quality standard within the lab; ensuring the lab is compliant with all external and internal quality standards, including ISO9001.
- Manage and mentor more junior colleagues, creating an engaging environment.
- Ensure project objectives are met in agreed timeline and proactively communicate progress to other stakeholders.
The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
- PhD in Immunology, Immuno-Oncology or infectious Disease or equivalent years of experience in industry setting (typically 5 years)
- +7 years experience between academia and industry
- Strong Flow Cytometry background and practical expertise in multicolor immunophenotyping experiments (extra and intracellular markers human and murine)
- Extensive experience in establishing new assays and protocols.
- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask and work to deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills to facilitate open and constructive communication within the team along with other teams within the company across the globe.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in
- Experience in people management
- Previously worked to ISO9001 quality standards.
