Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Reporting to Operations Director Airedale, as part of the senior leadership team, with a strong dotted line to the Supply Chain Function, support the development and delivery of the business HSE&S strategy and objectives, resulting in a positive, safe working culture. Working within the wider QSHE team, the post holder will play a major role in ensuring that Brenntag/ Airedale in the UK & Ireland meets or exceeds relevant Occupational, Process Safety, Environmental and Security Standards. On a day-to-day basis this calls for proactively promoting and embedding the importance of a progressive safety culture, engaging with employees at all levels within the organisation to adopt the right safety behaviours to ensure that Brenntag corporate standards are consistently exceeded. The role will assist the definition of team objectives, Key Performance Indicators, as well as to prioritise, delegate, and monitor work to ensure the optimisation of resources to deliver first-class service to customers both internally and externally. Compiling regular reports on performance and investigating regional incidents are key deliverables. This role will cover a number of operational facilities within the Brenntag Group and therefore an element of travel will be required.
